How to Use the Concordance
How can I search for a Keyword, Strong's Number or Verse in the Concordance?
To learn how to perform a search, see the following articles:
- How to Use the Search Field

Once you have successfully performed a search, you will see the Concordance results mapped out in 3 columns.
References
The first column provides a list of references that matched your search. All the matching verses are nested below their book name to keep them organized and easy to find. Click on any book name to see all the verses in that book that match the search. Click on any verse to see the search term used in that verse.
Verse
The second column contains the verse for the keyword that was searched. The keyword will be highlighted in both the English and the original language verse. You can hover over any of the words and see Concordance information about each word.
At the top of the Verse column, there are several icons that may appear. The first is an orange pound sign ("#") that allows you to toggle on/off the Strong's Numbers on the actual verse (if you want to see the numbers inline with the words). There are additional optional icons that may show up to alert you if this verse has private notes, a map reference, or a timeline reference. Clicking on those icons will provide you with a link to the resource.
Attributes
The third column lists the attributes for the keyword in the passage. It will list the Strong's word and/or verse Number, grammatical information, and word usage (how it is commonly translated).
In Context
Below the main Concordance information, there is an "In-Context" module that allows you to read more than just the single verse. You can scan through other portions of the Bible, without leaving the page, if you need to look something up.
My Notes
To the right of the Context module are your personal notes. If you are logged into your account, you can see any notes you've made on this verse, or add new notes. Your notes are then accessible whenever you return to this verse in any of the tools, or from your "My Notes" page in your personal account.
