Creating an Account

How do I create an account?

In order to access additional features of the site, like saving notes, you will need to have an account. This is simple, quick and well worth the effort.

  • First go to the "My Notes" section and you will be redirected to the account creation page.
  • Fill out the requested information in the form, remember that required fields are marked with an asterisk. Your information will be kept private, will not be sold or shared with third parties, and will only be used to enhance your experience on the site or get in contact with you if the need arises.
  • At the bottom of the page you will see a Word Verification field. This is an important tool for making sure that you are human (to reduce spam). Do your best to write the words, don't worry if you aren't sure. If you make a mistake you will given more opportunities with a new word.
  • After you submit the form, your account will be created and we will send an activation link to your email account.
  • Check your Email account (look in your junk folder if necessary) for the activation email.
  • When you locate the email, click on the activation URL (or copy/paste it into a browser). At the sign in page on the website sign-in to your account with the Username and Password you chose for yourself. This will complete the activation process and you will be logged into the site.
  • If you don't receive an activation email, or you lost your activation email, go to the sign in page on the website and try to sign in. You will be given a message that says you first have to activate your account, which will include a link to a form to request a new activation email.
